Can I rent a fat freezing machine for home use in Auckland?

What is FreezeDrop?

FreezeDrop is an at-home beauty machine rental service focused on non-invasive body contouring and skin-focused treatments. We provide guided access to selected technologies so customers can use them at home with clearer instructions and flexible rental options.

Is this a clinic treatment?

No. FreezeDrop is a rental service, not a medical clinic. Our packages are designed for guided home use and should be treated as cosmetic body contouring options, not medical treatment.

Who is this best for?

FreezeDrop is best for customers who want a more flexible alternative to repeated clinic visits and who are looking for body contouring support rather than a weight-loss shortcut.

Is this a weight-loss treatment?

No. These treatments are better described as body contouring technologies. They are intended to support shaping, smoothing, or skin-focused goals in selected areas. They are not a substitute for weight loss, diet, or exercise.

What is included in The Signature Reset?

The Signature Reset includes access to FreezeDrop’s multi-technology body sculpting machine, cryolipolysis fat freezing, laser lipo, ultrasonic cavitation, RF skin tightening, 6 antifreeze pads, online guidance, and aftercare instructions.

Is delivery included?

Delivery is not included in the package price. Delivery fees are calculated based on location, and pickup may be available.

Which areas can I target?

Common treatment areas include the stomach, waist, hips, thighs, arms, back, and other stubborn areas suitable for body contouring. Suitability depends on the customer and treatment guidance.

Is fat freezing suitable for everyone?

No. Fat freezing and body contouring treatments are not suitable for everyone. Customers should review FreezeDrop’s safety information and contraindications before booking or using the machine.

How quickly will I see results?

Results vary between individuals. Body contouring results usually develop gradually over time and depend on the treatment area, consistency, lifestyle, and individual response.


Booking and rental

How long can I hire the machine for?

Rental options vary by package and availability. The available hire period will be shown during booking.

How do I book?

Choose your package, select your preferred dates, and complete checkout. If you need help choosing the right package, contact us before booking.

Can I extend my rental?

If the machine is available for your requested dates, we may be able to extend your hire. Contact us as early as possible to check.

Do you require a bond or security hold?

No, there is currently no bond required for standard bookings.

Can I pick the machine up myself?

Yes you can pick up free of charge. Please note when selecting this service you will also  need to drop off prior to 9am on your last rental day.

When does my rental start and end?

Your rental begins on the booked delivery date at 09:00am and ends on the agreed return date at 9:00am. Return timing instructions will be provided with your booking.

What happens if I return the machine late?

Late returns may incur additional charges, especially if another booking is affected. Contact us as soon as possible if you expect a delay.

What happens if the machine is damaged during my hire?

Customers are responsible for keeping the machine safe and using it according to the instructions provided. Charges may apply for avoidable damage, missing parts, or misuse.

What areas do you service?

Our delivery area currently covers most of Auckland, excluding Waiheke Island. Please see further below for a list of areas available. If we don't cover your area feel free contact us with your query.

Do you offer shipping or delivery?

Yes we offer delivery. This includes both delivery and pickup of the FreezeDrop device.

How much is delivery?

Delivery and pickup fees are based on your delivery postcode and distance from our either our Torbay or Glenfield dispatch location. Please see our delivery table below for more details.

Some rural, remote, or hard-to-access addresses may require manual confirmation before booking.

Training and support

Do I get instructions on how to use it?

Yes. Every rental includes guidance on how to use the machine and which treatment settings or attachments apply to your package.

Do you provide live support if I get stuck?

Yes. If you need help during your rental, contact us and we’ll do our best to support you during our available support hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm.

What if the machine stops working during my rental?

Contact us as soon as possible if you experience a technical issue. We’ll help troubleshoot the problem and advise on the next step under our rental terms.


Treatments and results

How soon will I see results?

That depends on the treatment and the area being treated. Some people notice early changes quickly, while other treatments are more gradual and can take several weeks or longer. Results vary.

Which treatment gives the fastest-looking change?

Cryolipolysis usually takes time to show visible change. RF can sometimes create a temporary “tighter” look earlier. Laser lipo and cavitation are usually better understood as course-style contouring tools rather than instant-result treatments.

Can I treat more than one area?

That depends on your package, your hire period, and the treatment instructions. We recommend focusing on the most suitable area or areas rather than trying to do everything badly in one go.

Can I use all technologies in the same day?

Some technologies are commonly paired, while others are better spaced or used more selectively. Always follow the guidance provided with your package and do not improvise your own protocol.

Will results be permanent?


No cosmetic body contouring treatment should be sold as a blanket permanent-result promise in this context. Treated areas may change over time depending on the treatment, the person, and later lifestyle factors.


Safety and suitability

Is the machine safe to use at home?

The machine is intended for guided home use, but safety depends on using it correctly and following the instructions provided. Not every treatment is suitable for every person.

Who should not use cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis is not suitable for everyone. It should not be used by people with:

  • cryoglobulinemia
  • cold agglutinin disease
  • paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria

Extra caution is also needed for people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a hernia in or near the treatment area, recent surgery, impaired circulation, impaired skin sensation, or other relevant medical concerns.

What side effects can happen after cryolipolysis?

Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, numbness, tingling, tenderness, cramping, and skin sensitivity can occur. Rare complications are possible, including paradoxical adipose hyperplasia. 

Can I use these treatments if I have a medical condition?

If you have any medical condition, recent surgery, implanted devices, skin issues in the treatment area, impaired sensation, circulation concerns, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not proceed until you have checked whether the treatment is suitable.

Should I speak to a healthcare professional first?

Yes, especially if you have any existing medical condition, take medication that affects healing or sensation, or have any doubt about whether a treatment is right for you.


Hygiene and care

Is the machine cleaned between rentals?

Yes. The machine and accessories are cleaned and checked between each hire. We do ask that all customers give the machine a clean do to assist us in quick turnarounds between hires.

Do I need to clean it before return?

Please return the machine in tidy condition and follow any return instructions provided with your booking.

What should I do if I lose an accessory or return something incomplete?

Contact us straight away. Missing items may incur replacement charges.
